The Ledebur Colloquium is a well-known event in the German foundry industry. For the Visiometa team it was a great opportunity to share knowledge, meet new people and present the benefits of our products and services.

On October 27-28, another edition of the Ledebur Colloquium took place in Freiberg, Germany. The event is a renowned conference for the foundry industry organized by the Foundry Institute of the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg.

Our engineering team, represented by Ralf Gerke-Cantow and Urs Brandenberger, had their own area at the event where they introduced our company to the visitors and demonstrated how the Visiometa software works with practical examples.

The colloquium was a great opportunity to make new contacts, share experiences and learn what is being developed and researched in the foundry sector. During the two-day event, the Visiometa team was able to meet and share knowledge with many foundry professionals working either in industry or at universities across Germany. In times of high energy prices and uncertainties about the future, it is always a good idea to discuss the market and the next steps for the foundry industry with people who deal with it on a daily basis. We are already looking forward to the next Ledebur Colloquium!
