The VDI conference "Gießtechnik im Motorenbau" (Casting Technology in Engine Construction) is the most important German-speaking forum for foundrymen and engine builders! Despite some schedule changes, the event originally planned for January 2021 was able to take place on October 27 and 28 in Magdeburg. The official program included many exciting and sophisticated presentations covering, for example, the future of various drive concepts, Germany's energy supply and examples of the successful implementation of highly demanding casting technology projects.

In addition to the many inspiring presentations, the event offered space for exhibitions, personal exchange and change of perspective, taking into account all pandemic-related safety precautions. Visiometa was represented with its own booth and was pleased to present itself to an interested audience. We would like to thank all visitors for many interesting and inspiring conversations and are looking forward to the next event.
